Professor Jung-Hwan Park and his research group conduct research on transdermal drug delivery using microneedles, microheaters, and microfluidic systems for the delivery of small-molecule drugs, proteins, peptides, and nanoparticles. A major focus of the group is the development of microneedle-based systems for the minimally invasive delivery of various therapeutics into and through the skin.

  In collaboration with medical institutions and Korean pharmaceutical and cosmetic companies, the group is actively engaged in the research and development of microneedle technologies, ranging from microneedle design and fabrication to performance evaluation and preclinical studies.
